Deal Smartly with Your Periods
Your body may be smart but you are smarter! Prepare yourself for the periods mentally and physically so that you can combat the painful time. Just by taking care of some the following things, you can easily deal with the ordeal:
Mark Your Calendar Keep a record of the date and length of time of every period you get and the duration between two periods. Like wise you will be able to prepare yourself for the due date and can track the irregularities occurring in your monthly cycle. You can use a calendar for this or can simply put reminders in your cell phones to help you mark the days.
Track Down the Symptoms After marking the days, you can use the same calendar to mark the symptoms that occur during the cycle. Note the type and severity of the symptoms and the days at which they occur. Some girls feel more pain before menstruation whereas some get the cramps on the fist two three days of the period. Keeping this record will also be helpful in seeking medical care for PMS.
Prepare Your Emergency Kit! Every girl should have an Emergency Kit prepared for the bad times in order to save herself from the turmoil at the very hour. Always keep sanitary napkins/ pads/ tampons in your hand bag and if possible a pain killer. This will be helpful to not only you but also to your friends, class mates and colleagues in time of need.
